Sometimes my humans are very thoughtful. The two boy humans were wrestling once and broke a spindle from the railing by the stairs. There is now the perfect gap there for me to sit and watch people come up from the basement. Or for pouncing on unsuspecting things. Or for getting downstairs even faster than the human traveling down with me.
They also thoughtfully bought all their sofas in a grey color that almost perfectly matches my lustrous coat. I can camouflage myself easily whenever I feel the need to do so. Sometimes my humans look right in my direction without seeing me. The similar color also helps keep the complaints about shedding to a minimum. Any thing to avoid too much negative human attention is a good thing!

Here one of my humans is trying to copy my interesting lounging style. She just doesn't have it. Humans are never as cool as cats. They keep trying though, bless their hearts. It is of course the height of coolness to chew on crochet yarn as it is being used or to eat elastic thread that my human is trying to sew with. It takes work to be as amazing as I am.
Do I look annoyed? I am a tad bit annoyed. One of my humans called me over to her. When I deigned to respond, she didn't have anything interesting for me. Not even a scratch. It is like she just wanted to know where I was. Trust me, I am not crazy enough to sneak outside today when snow is in the forecast. I am not a cold weather cat! Why do humans think cats need them anyway? They really need us. I am perfectly capable of finding my own food and water outside if I so desired. My humans on the other hand are not very good at preventing mice from getting inside their garage. Or warming their own feet. I am also the best lesson in responsibility for my human siblings. What would my family do without me?
